Datuk Siti Nurhaliza with her family members

Datuk Siti Nurhaliza is a daughter of Tarudin bin Ismail and Siti Salmah binti Bachik. Her father is a police officer and her mother is a housewife. She comes from a musically inclined family. Her grandfather was a famous violinist, and her mother was a famous local traditional singer.  Her brother, Saiful Bahri Tarudin, and her sisters Siti Norsaida and Siti Saerah are also singers. When she was a kid, she always helped her mother sell sardine puffs in her village and had dreams of becoming a singer. When she was a small child, her family always following her father transfer into some place because of her father’s work.
